Hi @Portcullis,
WiFi sync allows one or more iOS device(s) to sync with a Mac or Windows PC running 1Password for Mac or 1Password for Windows (respectively). It does not allow for multiple iOS devices to sync.
You can read more about the sync options available here:

Thanks for your quick reply. Do I have this right: I am running the free version of 1Password on my iPad. Although the icon downloads from the App Store onto the iPhone (both devices running 9.0.2), it cannot synch data with what I have on the iPad because I am not synching to a Mac. If I want 1Password on the iMac (10.10.5) I must purchase 1Password for the Mac ($29.99) and then both the iOS devices can synch over wifi, and all 3 devices will have the same information. I have only one set of data on the iPad 1Password, so that means I have only one "vault," right? No, wait--checking the pro features for the iPad iOS. Hmm. No. I just now bought the pro features for the iPad ($5.99), but still get prompted to to open 1Password on a Mac when I try to synch the iPhone over wifi. So I need to buy a license for the Mac in order to synch the iOS devices. Right? Portcullis

Hi @Portcullis,
Regardless of what you buy you won't be able to sync iOS <-> iOS directly over WiFi. As I mentioned WiFi sync is for syncing one or more iOS devices to a Mac or PC. If you want to sync two iOS devices together you'd need to use one of the other sync methods we offer, detailed here:
https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/syncing.html
(you can sync via iCloud or Dropbox without any additional purchase)If you wanted to sync all of your devices over WiFi (and you have a Mac) then yes you'd need to purchase 1Password for Mac and the sync setup would look like this:
iPad <-> Mac
iPhone <-> MacIt still wouldn't sync
iPad <-> iPhone
directly.If you decide to purchase 1Password for Mac, and ever envision wanting to sync with iCloud, I'd recommend purchasing 1Password for Mac from the Mac App Store.
Please note that the pricing you mentioned is limited time sale pricing, which is likely to be ending very soon. The regular pricing is $9.99 USD for the Pro features for iOS and $49.99 USD for the 1Password for Mac application.
Thanks!
Ben
