My iPhone app is unable to sync with wifi to my macbook pro. It has been 9 weeks. Please help.

I have posted here before. I have both the iPhone 6 app and the app on my macbook pro. When I initiate the wifi sync on my phone, the operation times out. Please see the attached screen shots from my phone. I am very frustrated that I cannot get help from the company I purchased this from. Do I need to reinstall the app on my phone and hope I can get the app on my phone to sync over wifi? I have reset the wifi. I have followed all the protocols and still I have a sync problem: The operation couldn't be completed. Operation timed out.

OS Version: OS X 10.11

    Please try this:

    • reboot both your devices;
    • if that does not help, reboot your router.

    If you still have problems post again because there are one or two other things you can try. However, these basic steps do usually resolve the problem.

    I have tried that before and again today- to no avail. I still get same message as before. Susan

    There is a pretty extensive wifi sync troubleshooting list of steps in this AgileBits post which may help you.

  • Hi @beedelys,

    Please let us know if the troubleshooting steps above that Stephen mentioned helped. If not, I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

    Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

    You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

    Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

    Ben
