touch id requires master password
My new 6S Plus with IOS 9.0.2 requires the master password most of the time. Once in a while I can get touch id working.
I think I saw that you need to reset and start 1Password before starting safari, and I'm going to give that a try.

Hi @htodd,
I'd like to help you figure out what's happening here! Let me ask a few questions to get the ball rolling:
- If you go to Settings > Security, what are your "Lock on Exit," "Auto-Lock", and "Touch ID" settings?
- If you go to Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password, what interval is that set to?
Thanks!

lock on exit on, auto-lock 10 min, touch id on
Require Master Password - Never0 -
Hi @htodd,
Is it possible that the lock mode changed from Touch ID to the Master Password after your iPhone 6s Plus rebooted? If so, please note that this is the intended behaviour: 1Password for iOS prompts users to enter their Master Password after a device restart. You need to enter your Master Password only once, then you'll be able to use Touch ID.
For mor information about how locking works in 1Password for iOS, please take a look at our Improved locking in 1Password 5.5 for iOS blogpost.
Hope that this helps
Cheers!

Yeah, I read the docs. I work with customers too in my day job.
It's INTERMITTENT, and that's the big problem. If I start it first, it works fine. If I start Safari first, the master password sticks RANDOMLY.
How is the setting changing back and forth by itself?
It may be fixed with the new iOS 9.1 update, but I haven't really experimented much. I found the workaround and I'm using it.
I just noticed the problem (and has anyone tried to reproduce it at agilebits?) and thought I'd report it as "still broken" since googling for the problem shows several people reporting this on earlier iOS.

Hi @htodd ,
I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
Please enable "Lock", "Keychain", and "UI Lock" in
Settings->Advanced->Diagnostics
. Then when the problem happens again, carry out the instructions at:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.htmlAttach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
Regards,

I think I figured it out, or at least I replicated it. The Uber app is really, really bad and that seems to be blocking things. I'll send the diagnostics report.

Interesting. Did you get a chance to send the report yet? I'm not seeing it in our inbox. If you have, what was the support ID assigned to it?
Thanks
Ben
