Do I set a master password for each device or is the master password sync between all my devices?

I changed my master password on my MAC. When I tried opening 1password on my iPad it would not accept the new master password that I set up on my MAC. I sync using iCloud and assumed the new master password would apply to all my synced devices. Is the master password device independent?

    Hi @eaglegeoff,

    The change in Master Password should sync between devices, but you must unlock each device with the previous Master Password once before the change will take effect. If it does not sync then you can change the device manually under Settings > Security within 1Password.

    FYI, it did not work on the iPad Air running iOS9 but did work on my iPhone 6 also running on iOS9.... I changed it manually on the iPAD. Thanks for the timely response and the EXCELLENT app. Wish all my apps were made by agilebits.
