In dropbox I seem to have 2 1password agilekeychain files
One is in the 1password folder and one is sitting in the same list as the folder.
On my iphone even though I have less logins than on the mac, I know there are some that I don't actually have on the mac.
Help please.

1Password Version: 6.0.1

  • Hi @Naren59 ,

This should be a relatively simple fix. You need to make sure both devices are syncing into the same keychain file on Dropbox. Here's what I recommend:

    1. Backup your data on each device. On Mac, in Preferences->Backups, on iOS, in Settings->Advanced
    2. On each Mac and iPhone, disable sync. On Mac, in Preferences->Sync; on iOS, in Settings->Vaults and tap your vault.
    3. On Mac, set up Dopbox sync again, and choose the 1Password agilekeychain file in the 1Password folder in Dropbox. (Dropbox->1Password->1Password.agilekeychain) If it asks to merge, merge it.
    4. Wait for the Mac to finish sync.
    5. On iOS, set up sync again, and choose the same agilekeychain file as in the previous step. If it asks to merge, merge it.
    6. Wait for iOS to finish sync.

Now the Mac and iPhone should be in sync and have the same number of items. If one does not, let us know.

And after you are confident the two are in sync, go into your Dropbox folder and remove the 1Password.agilekeychain file that is not in the 1Password folder.

If you have any questions or problems with the above steps, please reply indicating where you ran into trouble.

    Cheers,
    Kevin
