Unable to access 1Password on new phone

I'm having a similar problem. I first started using 1pass 2 weeks ago on iOS 9 with a 6S. Cracked my screen, and since apple doesn't have replacement screens yet, I came home w a brand new 6s.
All my data was backed up and now on my new phone. However, when I open 1pass, it just sits there with the key logo. No prompt for any of my security.
Tried separately syncing w iCloud and iTunes. Same result. Little help?

I have the latest iOS version on my iphone, and I just updated 1Password to Version 6.1, 67.0 MB on Nov. 9th. Every time I try to open 1Password it just goes away when I use my fingerprint to access. I restarted my phone and entered the master password, but it crashed then, too.

I recently upgraded my phone to a 6s plus from a 5s. I backed up my 5s and restored it onto the 6s and everything went over fine except this app. Its asking me to create a new one or sync with something online which I haven't done, everything was just on the phone I guess. I use this app for work because I travel and am needing these passwords. How do I get it back on there? I never have backed it up to drop box and it says I don't have anything on icloud either.

Hi @JeremiahHall ,
I believe the following article will be of help.
Use the instructions there to backup the 1Password data from your 5s.
Then, restore that backup file onto your 6s plus.

If you have any issues with the above, do not hesitate to reply.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I do not have the 5s itself anymore as it was a trade-in. So I just have the backup on my iTunes that I used to restore it on the new phone. Do you think it's just gone forever?

The only thing I could suggest would be to try restoring the backup that you do have again. I have actually heard some reports of that working. Beyond that unfortunately all I could recommend is in the future making regular backups using the instructions Kevin linked to. We've heard many reports of the built-in backups not properly restoring app data.

I do have the file of the app from the backup that has the data in it, not sure how I could put that on there. As a customer though, I would suggest throwing that in the app because I had no idea to do that and that it wouldnt transfer and this happened

Hi @JeremiahHall,
Here are instructions on restoring the data from your iTunes backup.
Unfortunately, I am not sure what you are recommending in your last sentence. Are you suggesting that we should include backup and restore instructions in the app or that we store the backup within the app itself?
Could you please clarify that for me? Thank you in advance.
