Hi @dspiers167,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I assume you are following our WiFi sync guide to accomplish this sync?
https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/sync-over-wifi.html
If so, could you please let me know which step you get to where this error occurs?
Thanks!
Ben

Wifi sync. Tried the iCloud but that didn't work either even though ICloud is enabled on iPhone but does not show up on Mac.

Hi @dspiers167,
Sorry if I was not clear. I'm asking which specific step of the guide you reach when you receive this error message.
Thanks.

When I click "sync with wifi" it says "password not set". I enter password and it says: Sync Problem incorrect secret. Please make sure it matches the secret shown on the computer. I know I am using correct password

When I open 1password app on iPhone i get a screen that asks me to choose how I sync date: sync with iCloud, sync with dropbox, or sync using wifi. I click wifi and then it shows my Mac and I tap on that and go down to secret and add secret password and sync now and the above message is what I get. I just noticed that the computer it is showing is Macbook Pro which I USE to have and gave to my husband and I have the new gold Mac. Could that be the problem? I tried to remove the Macbook pro but it wouldn't let me do that.

Hi @dspiers167 ,
That indeed sounds like the problem. 1Password on your phone will show any Mac on your network that has WiFi sync turned on in the 1Password Preferences. So it sounds like your husband has it turned on on his MacBook Pro, but you don't have it enabled on your gold MacBook. Go to the 1Password on your MacBook and enable WiFi sync in its Preferences under Sync. Then it should show up on your iPhone.
If your husband isn't using WiFi Sync, he can turn the Sync off, then it will no longer appear in your iPhone's settings.
If you have further questions, please reply.
Cheers,
Kevin0
