sync master password at iOS

hi
i have a problem with the sync of the masterpassword at my iphone.

i have

1. a mac pro with OS X 10.10.and 1password 5.4. version

2. a mac book air with OS X 10.8. and 1password 4.4.2 version, (extension version 4.4.3.90)

3. iphone 4s and iOS 7.1.2 version and 1 password 4.5.3 version

i sync with dropbox via WLAN/ WIFI

i changed my master password at my mac pro.

the sync of the masterpassword works fine at my macbook air.

BUT at the iphone4s it does not work.
if i fill in my old masterpassword - this works!
why!??????
the new one the iphone will not accept!

i tried to shut down the iphone. and to start it new. but still the same.
i can not update the software cause it is not compatibel mit the ios 7.1. and i will not update my iphone (its only possible to update to iOS 9 and this it not very stabil wth the iphone4s)

what do i need to do, that the change of the master password also works at my iphone.

and by the way: if i change anything at other passwords, or if I add a new login or something, these changes work fine at all devices....

hope you understand what i mean, with my bad english, sorry...

When you change your master password on your Mac then unlock 1P on your phone your phone initially knows nothing about the master password change (because you have not yet sync'd that to your phone). You have to sign in to 1P on your phone with your old master password to allow sync of your 1P data from your Mac—which will include the master password change, so that next time you unlock 1P on your phone you can use the new master password.

In other words, in your case, you need to ensure that the sync of 1P data happens via Dropbox once you've unlocked 1P on your phone with your old master password.

i tried what you said, but ...

i unlocked 1P at the iphone
dropbox sync works fine
i locked 1P
i switched of the iphone
i switched on the iphone
i unlocked 1P at the iphone

i needed to fill in still the old master password.

it said: the synchronizing via dropbox wrks...

i which file exactly is the master password?
in the same file like everything else?

I also made a new login at the iphone to see wheater the file in dropbox syncs. and it does...
it will make the sync via dropbox perfectly und changes it to the dropbox at my macpro and at the MBA too.
(as it is described in the article
"Dropbox sync is not working"

also the other ways round...(whem i make a new login e.g. the MBA.

might be i misunderstood you ...?

Hi Mila ( @marmelade26 ),

You may need to change your Master Password on the iPhone 4s as well as the Mac. You can find the setting to change the Master Password in 1Password under Settings > Security.
