Replacing my iPhone

I will be erasing everything on my old iPhone either in the Verizon store or more likely, I will delete everything myself using the instructions that arrive with the phone. I was planning to delete the 1PW app first then erase everything I can. Is there anything special you recommend to make sure that my password in 1PW is not available to anyone that gets my old phone?

Thanks very much

Steve

To the best of my knowledge, selecting the option to erase all settings and data does just that. Nothing is left after you do that. That's what I do before selling iPhones I have updated.

Actually, before I do that, I sign out of iCloud to be sure Find My iPhone no longer tracks the old device. I'm not sure that step is necessary, but I do it to satisfy myself.

@captsls Hawkmoth is correct - deleting 1Password from your iOS device also deletes all its data locally from the iOS device.
