The app on iOS 8 can be found in store but can't be downloaded
When I search for 1Password I can find it, but when I press download button, I get a message «Upgrade to iOS9». I have an iPhone4s and iOS 8, and I don't want to upgrade to 9, as it will slow down the phone completely. I am totally unsatisfied with the product, as it is not a cheap application and after getting a license I still can not use it, because I can not have it on my phone. Why there is no downgrade version in the AppStore for older phones?

Hi @anastasia_heich,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. Before we get started I do need to clarify one point as it sounds like there may be some confusion:
I am totally unsatisfied with the product, as it is not a cheap application and after getting a license I still can not use it, because I can not have it on my phone.
1Password for iOS is a separate product and is sold separately from 1Password for Mac. Purchasing one does not give you the other, and they are complementary but standalone products.
Why there is no downgrade version in the AppStore for older phones?
Apple only makes previous versions of apps available under limited circumstances. We do not recommend running older versions of 1Password (or iOS), but if for whatever reason you must do so, we have heard some reports from other customers on how to make this happen:
- Open iTunes on your Mac
- Make sure you are logged into the same Apple ID that you use for purchases on your iPhone
- Download 1Password for iOS: http://j.mp/1PasCS
- Pick up your iPhone
- Launch the App Store app
- Select the
Updates > Purchases
tab - Download 1Password from this tab
I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
Ben
