1Password mini opens after successful filling with ⌘\ [known issue with multiple profiles in Chrome]

Does this fix have anything to do with the newly released 1Password 6 for Mac? Or is it just an extension fix?
The problem is still here and has been here for 2 months now. And to remind you it happened in the past, got fixed and now regressed again. It can't be such a complicated problem that it takes 2 months for a fix.0 -
Hi @411pass,
Are you continuing to see the issue when running a combination of 1Password 6 for Mac and version 4.5.2 of the 1Password Chrome Extension? Both are now released as stable and so far all my attempts at running multiple profiles, tabs & windows result in the correct items being shown.

I'm running 1Password 6 Version 6.0 (600008), Chrome ext 4.5.2.90, Chrome 47.0.2526.111
Same problem as before, on Cmd+\ the mini menu remains on the screen. It doesn't even seem to require a 2nd profile to be active, the simple fact that I have a 2nd profile with the ext installed in both causes it. There's only a single Chrome window that runs a profile.0 -
Hi @411pass,
I think it's time to review a diagnostic report, this guide will assist.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums
The email address you will want to use is support+forum@agilebits.com.
When sending the diagnostic report to the address above it would help immensely if you could include a link to this thread and your forum handle so we can connect the two.
Once you've sent the report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. With access to the report we should be able to better assist you

I am not comfortable submitting any diagnostics when it comes to my password manager.
Are you suggesting that the Cmd+\ bug that keeps the mini window open should be fixed or just the wrong matches part?
Can someone else who experienced this problem please confirm whether the problem is fixed for them or still there with the latest versions of 1Pass?

Hello @411pass,
If you're not comfortable with what is contained in a diagnostic report then of course please don't send it. They can be a useful tool in diagnosing the issue if we're uncertain as to the reason such as now where everything I've tried so far works in my Chrome setup.
What I'm saying is that I have 1Password 6 for Mac and the 4.5.2 1Password Chrome Extension installed in two profiles and that I can have multiple windows with multiple tabs for multiple profiles open and whenever I switch between them I can successfully fill without wrong matches or unrequested 1Password mini menus appearing. In my setup I'm not seeing anything that would be deemed undesirable behaviour when running multiple Chrome profiles like we have in the past.
Hopefully somebody else will report on their findings

I am also experiencing this issue. A fix would be really nice. :-)

Hello @ianneub2,
Can you tell us a little more about your setup please.
- What version of 1Password are you running?
- What version of Chrome do you have?
- What version of the 1Password extension is installed? As this thread is about multiple profiles can you open each profile you normally use and check each please as profiles don't share a single extension, each loads and uses its own which can potentially mean you have different versions in each.
Hopefully something might stand out

- Version 6.0.1 (601004) from the Mac App Store
- Chrome 48.0.2564.109 (64-bit)
- Chrome extension - 4.5.3.90 & 4.5.3.90 (same in both of my profiles)
I also submitted a diagnostic report on Feb 11 to support+forum@agilebits.com. I hope that helps!

Hi @ianneub2,
Sorry, I didn't realise you'd sent in a diagnostic report too and coincidentally it was brought to my attention late yesterday, we'll see if the diagnostic report offers any insight
