    Hi @bjenkins9999

unfortunately I cannot give you any other update other than it's still on our list. I cannot give you a timeline when it will be available. Sorry.

Hi, I don't see a date on this thread.... only times.

I've just purchased 1Password on Mac, and I love it. So I downloaded the iPhone version and did my first sync.... after loving everything I've seen of 1Password on the Mac, I was surprised to find no attachment on the iPhone version after my first sync....

I came to the forum looking for answers, and found this thread.... like I say, I don't see a date on this thread, so.... can I add my request to have this feature added to the iPhone please?... my iPhone is 5 with latest software.... my Mac is now running El Capitan...

I'm in the process of converting from SplashID over to 1Password, and I can vouch for the necessity and convenience of having scanned all of my cards.... from QANTAS club to VISA cards, drivers licences.... the lot... it is EXTREMELY useful to have these cards on file in the palm of my hand.....

I realise the security issues, but having a phone password, and a software password, has worked so far for me....

Please, expedite this request.... SplashID limits the attachment size to under 1Mb, which although is a little cumbersome to format, once it's done, the small file is quick and easy to load....

    Cheers,
    Mick

  • Hi Mick ( @Tbanger9 ),

The forums don't show the date on a post if the date is "today." If you look at this thread tomorrow, you'll note the dates do then appear.

Thanks for the vote, but this thread is a request for the ability to add attachments directly from iOS (which we would very much like to do, but I do not have further information on). 1Password can already do what you're asking for. If the Pro features have been purchased for iOS compatible attachments added in 1Password for Mac are accessible on iOS:

    https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/pro-features.html

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

I cannot wait to have this feature in the iOS version. How often are you releasing new versions of 1Password?

  • Hi @cadunn545,

I wish I had encouraging news to share about this but unfortunately there are no definite plans to implement this feature. We do appreciate the vote, and the enthusiasm, though.

We do not work off of a set release schedule. Instead we pick which features and bug fixes we plan to include in a version, and once that code has been written & tested it is pushed out as an update. It could be anywhere between a week and one or more months between releases, depending on how big of a release we are working on (and how many roadblocks we stumble upon along the way).

    Thanks!

I would settle for just being able to use the camera which presumably will also mean that attachments will be allowed then? QR Code comes to mind.

    Thanks.

  • @wkleem,

We do have QR code reading for one-time passwords, but we can't store the actual QR code. All of that has the same challenges that are associated with any other attachments.

Thanks, Ben. I will have to revisit the one time passwords. It is usually a forgotten about feature.

  • Cheers @wkleem, just let us know if you run into any trouble.
