What's going to happen when I merge my iPad and OSX vaults that have gotten out of sync?

I thought my iPad and Mac were syncing passwords with Dropbox until just now I couldn't find one on my iPad. I opened e Sync settings in 1Password on iPad. It tells me the two are 96% the same. The iPad version has around 170 and the Mac has around 215 passwords stored. Makes sense since I normally browse on the Mac. I tried to merge them so that the Mac would update the iPad passwords. But I get a warning, and it's not clear to me what's going to happen if I continue with the merge.

1Password Version: 6.0.1
Extension Version: Uncertain (4?)
OS Version: 10.8
Sync Type: Dropbox

    Hi @chuckbo,

It automatically places a warning when more than a few items are out of sync. This is just advisory and is not indicative of a problem. If you tell it to merge, it should sync all of the items properly.

If you are apprehensive, feel free to make a 1Password backup on your iOS device by going to Settings -> Advanced and tap Create Backup - this will create a copy of your data in the 1Password App. You can do the same thing on your Mac by going to Preferences -> Backups Then if something were to go wrong with the sync (and we don't expect it to) you can always restore from the backup.

    Cheers,
    Kevin
