what's going on?
I've entered all my urls with names and passwords. But when I go to the web sites, I have to re-enter everything again. What purpose does this program serve? L

Hi @olduglyguy,
I'm sure we can discover the cause of this but to do so we'll need a bit of information to kickstart the investigative process  Could you tell us the following please.
- What version of 1Password are you running?
- If you are not on a mobile device (iOS or Android), what is your preferred browser and the version of that browser?
- As above, If you are not on a mobile device (iOS or Android), what version of the 1Password extension is installed?

LBT,
Thx for the response. I'm not too computer savvy so that may be the problem. As far as I know I've got the free version which appears to be 6.0. I'm on an iPad and browser is Safari.0 -
Greetings @olduglyguy,
I can't say if you're computer savvy or not but you've supplied enough information for me to at least start in the right direction
Now iOS is a tightly locked down operating system. Apple designed it this way as in their mind a phone can be powerful but it's still a phone and you shouldn't have to worry about it in the same way as a computer. Here is a link to the general section of the 1Password iOS Extension, Extension .
The basics are:
- Enable the extension. My understanding is this is part of how iOS extensions work.
- Fill items in Safari (iOS). This is what you really want to learn about.
After that, you might find this last one of interest too and it's titled Create a new Login item in Safari.
I think that should be a good staring point for some material with a few screenshots to help guide. You may very well have questions afterwards and we'll do our best to answer all of them. I believe though you should feel more confident about how it works in 1Password for iOS after checking them out though
