Are you completely sure you're using the same Apple ID on your iPad as you used when you made the in-app purchase on your phone?

@BAB: Indeed, even if you are currently logged into the correct Apple ID, if 1Password was installed using another the App Store won't validate the in-app purchase, so it may be necessary to reinstall it. Please let me know what you find! :)

I was signed with the same Apple ID on both devices. i then deleted 1password from my iPad. I tried to download from the App store both as purchased tab and from the App store tab. Neither will download the App. What do i try now?

So 1Password for iOS shows up in the Purchased tab in the App Store on your iPad but there's a problem when you try to download it. Does it offer any insight as to the issue or react at all when you try to download a fresh copy?

Something that can't do any harm would be to restart the iPad, see if the old turn it off and on again trick makes any difference.

The issue is at the moment it sounds like we're stuck with an issue connected to Apple's part in the whole service. Hopefully we can figure this out.
