Unable to access vault on new device

I got rid on my IPhone 5C today; was told by Verizon that when I downloaded the Password again, I would be able to access my information. I cannot get to a screen which allows me to open my vault. Please advise.

Is your new device an Android, or another iOS device? Also, prior to getting rid of your old device, did you create any iTunes backups or configure sync with Dropbox, Wi-Fi, or iCloud? Finally, are you using 1Password on any other devices?
