I now notice that it is reporting an entry for the primary vault and one for an additional test vault that I created.

Each entry is reported for each vault,

Seems to be related to the changes to cope with team functionality.

The test vault was empty before the upgrade.

  • Hi @ziggie ,

Unless you added an account to Teams, it's likely not related. Note that the latest version does have the new "All Vaults" feature that displays all items from every vault. You can configure which vaults are included in this list in Settings->Vaults->All Vaults.

If you select a single vault using the chooser in the upper left corner, does it still show duplicates? I just want to confirm if this is the issue, before proceeding further.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi,

I added a new vault in Windows a few days ago and checked that it was empty. I was going to test the multiple vault feature.
    Then came the upgrade.
I did not do anything about teams.
The vaults were primary and 1password.
I noticed that there were duplicates in favorites which I tidied up, Each time I deleted one of the duplicates , the app crashed. I sent in the report,

I then noticed I had duplicates of all logins.

I wentinto each vault in turn and there is one entry in each of the two vaults, At no time did I enter the data into the second vault.

The only thing that might have caused this was when I created the second vault in Windows, I gave it the name test vault but it was created as 1password in IOS. The vaults are primary and 1password. The duplicates are reported when I use the all vaults feature.

So the real problem is that a vault replicated the primary vault in iOS when I created a new vault in Windows and upgraded.

    Hi

Just checked Windows and I have 3 vaults - 2 in Dropbox and 1 in 1password folder.
    Temporary.agilekeychain
    1password.agilekeychain
    Are in Dropbox
1password.agilekeychain is in the 1password folder on my d drive

Possible cause is the duplicate named vaults?

I did perform a wireless sync Windows and iOS.

    Regards

@valpro please don't post all over the place about the same problem. I've already responded to two other posts you made about the same problem.

  • Hi @ziggie,

Unfortunately I don't believe there is any way to tell for sure what happened here, but if I had to make an educated guess I'd say somehow when you WiFi synced your installations the Primary vault from iOS got synced into this new empty vault that you created on Windows. When WiFi syncing iOS <-> Windows only the Primary vault from iOS and the currently open vault on Windows can sync, so please be sure you've got the correct vault open on Windows before syncing.

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Hi @ziggie,

Did deleting the 2nd vault resolve your issue? Please let us know.

    Hi all,

Deleting the 2nd vault fixed the problem . It is unclear how the 2nd vault got populated with a copy of the 1st vault.

    Hi @ziggie,

I'm glad to hear that deleting the second vault resolved the issue for you. It is hard to determine after the fact what caused the issue, but I think Ben's theory has some explanatory power.

If the problem should ever reappear, please write back in and let us know.
