Switching from Windows to Mac

I'm switching from a Windows box to a Mac box tomorrow. Saw all the posts saying you license per user not per platform so I figured I am good to go, but I went to go get my registration key, and my email says OnePassword for Windows. Will my registration key work after I install OnePassword on my new mac tomorrow?

Actually licenses are indeed per platform, so you will need to buy a Mac license. You can get a discount on the Mac version that will make your total outlay equal to the price fo the Mac-Windows bundle price shown on the AgileBits Webb store. You can see that by clicking on the upgrade button under the bundle on their web store.

Be sure you are also aware that if you want to use iCloud for syncing among devices that you will need a license from the Mac App Store, since Apple doesn't allow any applications that they don't sell to have access to the required protocols.

License terms are discussed in more detail here.

    Hi @cfoye130,

Hawkmoth is spot-on, I couldn't have said it better myself! :)

If you decide to purchase a license for the Mac version from our AgileBits Store, simply visit our Upgrade Store and enter your license code from the Windows version to see your upgrade discount and license options.

If you have more questions about that, please let us know - we're always happy to help! :)
