Migrating 1P4 from my old MAC to v5.4 on new MAC
I can't change the sync option in 1P4 (4.4.3) on my old MAC (OS X 10.9.5) to create an option to restore it to my new MAC (OS X 10.10.5). If I could change it I would try the iCloud option but I didn't purchase 1P4 from the App store. I did purchase 1P5 from the Apps store though. Other than iCloud I could try the Dropbox option but can't select that either. My 1P4 seems to be backing up/Synching to my local HD.

Hi @Esposti12,
As you want to move from the AgileBits Store to Mac App Store version of 1Password, there are a couple of routes but here is what I would probably suggest.
- Launch 1Password 4 for Mac and use the File > Backup menu option.
- This should open the 1Password preference's window with the Backup tab in focus if I recall correctly.
- Click the Show Files button and copy the most recent backup from this Mac to a pen/flash drive, external disk even Dropbox if you want. Don't worry, it's encrypted using the exact same encryption that keeps your vault secure day-to-day.
- When you start 1Password 5 for the first time you can say you're an existing user and this guide, Using existing 1Password data on a new computer: Elsewhere on your Mac will show you how to use the backup file to kickstart 1Password 5. You can then set up whatever sync solution you want to.
That should get you going but please do let us know how you get along
