By mistake I moved the 1Password folder into a subfolder in my Dropbox folder, then I moved it back. Now on ALL devices that sync with Dropbox, I'm unable to choose to sync with that Dropbox 1Password file.

The Dropbox sync window says:
Dropbox Sync
Sync Primary vault with Dropbox
Users/mg/Dropbox/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain (choose)
(Cancel) (Continue)

Hitting Continue does absolutely nothing. Just highlights and stays there.

Wassup?

Thank you very much

  • Hey @alacarte. I'll be happy to help out here.

First off, I'd like you to open a Finder window and navigate to your Dropbox folder. Locate your .agilekeychain, and double-click it from there. It should open with 1Password.

Please let us know if you're able to access the vault that way. Thanks!

Yes, I did do that, and 1pw did in fact open. But the synchronization preferences still do not work, as explained before.

  • Thanks for the update. I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:

    --Mac--
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

    Hi @alacarte,

Thanks for sending your diagnostics report! I see that someone from our team replied and has been helping you out with that. We'll keep the conversation going directly via email to avoid creating any confusion between here and there. Hopefully we'll have it all cleared up very soon! :)
