It's up to Mozilla to incorporate the extension code that AgileBits makes freely available—so the request needs to be made to Mozilla. :)

Firefox for iOS will not even accept a pasted-in password. You have to manually type it in. They ought to know better!

Just tried and pasting in the password copied from 1Password in Firefox for iOS works (iOS 9.1).
Hopefully Mozilla will include the integration! The browser looks great so far.0 -
Hi @fra76,
If you are planning to write in to Mozilla to request this please consider including this link:

Thanks!

It worked on iPad for me...

Well, I deleted Firefox on my iPad, restarted the device, and downloaded a fresh copy. I was able to paste the password in this time, but it took several attempts to get the paste option to pop up. So never mind this complaint, I guess.

Hi @bwoodruff,
I'm searching for a place where to look at ongoing development or submitting requests for Firefox, but I cannot find it.
Do you have any hint?Thanks,
Francesco0 -
I had tried repeatedly to paste in my password on my iPad this morning, and the paste option refused to appear. I just checked on my iPhone, and guess what? Paste worked fine there.
@hawkmoth, @brenty, I thought I was the only one having the copy/paste issue on the iPad! Unfortunately, there's no way to delete Mobile Safari from any device.

Hi @bwoodruff,
I've found the right page and I have submitted the development request!
Thanks for submitting your idea. It has been allocated identifier FIOS-I-2.Let's see what they think...

Quick update:
Hi Francesco!
Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. You'll be pleased to know this is already on our radar and should be available in an update soon! And if you want to follow along in our bug, feel free: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1162174
Sounds promising!

And indeed it appears one of our developers has already been working with them on the code side of things. :)

I just installed Mozilla FF IOS, and copy&paste from 1P works - great.
I think the way to deal with 3rd party apps could be a keyboard like textexpander does it.
With s.th. like this I could use 1p even in my own apps - ahhh the beauty.
Could you guys do it???

Hi @Schulmeister,
It is a great idea, but unfortunately it won't work. iOS disallows custom keyboards within secure fields (such as password fields). You'll note, for example, you cannot use TextExpander's keyboard within a password field.
Thanks.
