Have you updated the latest version of 1P for iOS (released within the past 24 hours)? In any event, Please tell us:
- What version of 1Password for iOS you are using
- Your iOS version number

I have the exact same problem as Bonamy. It does take 11 seconds for the app to open and it is extremely annoying when you need to quickly check something..
I have an iPhone 6S plus, iOS 9.1, 1Password 6.1.1. , 1Password is the only app behaving weirdly. All the obvious things: delete,re-install,re-boot, etc.. have been done, to no avail.. >_< . Two of my friends to whom I recommended 1Password ( :p ) have this problem as well (similar configurations). Are you aware of this bug on a larger scale? I hope this can be solved soon. :|0 -
I'm very sorry to hear that you are both having issues with a few second delay when opening 1Password when using Touch ID. This has been a tricky issue to resolve, but we think we might have solved it and hope to release an update with the fix as soon as we can.
Once again, my apologies and thank you for your patience.

Hi eva_s,
Thank you for your reaction. I am glad to hear that AgileBits has been working on solving this issue. Eleven seconds are unfortunately pretty long if you want to have a serious use of the app... :|
Looking forward to the update! :)

Totally understand the frustration. A fix is currently in testing, so, hopefully soon. :)

And it didn't help that u guys took out the pin that we could use within an hour or so and not use master. I don't know y u took that out when u r having problems with Touch ID. I was using the pin as an alternative for Touch ID until u fixed it. You guys couldn't have waited until Touch ID was working correctly?? Sheesh

Hi @Mikenyc,
This issue has proven to be particularly difficult to track down. We thought that we had a fix implemented in v6.1.2, but we're still hearing reports from folks who are experiencing difficulties.
As for your question about PIN vs Touch ID -- this depends on what is enabled for your device. If you do not have Touch ID enabled at all on your device (no fingerprints stored), but a PIN is enabled, then 1Password will offer the option to use a PIN. If Touch ID is enabled on the device then 1Password will offer the option of using Touch ID. If you do not secure your device with either a PIN or Touch ID then the Master Password must be entered to unlock 1Password.
We were very hopeful that the changes we introduced in v6.1.2 would resolve the slow launch / Touch ID issue. For anyone still experiencing this issue, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
Ben
