Need help with this 7207 sync error! These instrux don't match the latest version (6.1.1.).

I can't follow these instructions because there's no way to disable sync on my iPhone.
iPhone and Mac are no longer syncing. Am running the latest version.
Need to fix this asap, am leaving the country! Thanks.
