Touch ID on new iPad Pro
I have a new iPad Pro and would like to use Touch ID as I do on my iPhone 6. Is that possible?

I found the answer myself in the user manual. Touch ID is available for iPad Pro and it can be found und 1Password Settings under Security!

Glad to hear you got it figured out, @HeinzOtto! I haven't been able to get my hands on an iPad Pro yet so I haven't been able to confirm first hand, but there shouldn't be any reason you can't use Touch ID on these beautiful devices. :)

HI, the security code on iPad Pro has six characters while the code for 1Password has only four, so it is impossible to enter the short code and I have to enter an imaginary four digit code, then get the error message, then enter the master password. I activated the finger screen feature but sometimes one need to enter the short code (e.g. when fingers are a little humid).
Thanks for your help on this,

Hi Patrick ( @plegros ),
Thanks for taking the time to write in.
iOS devices that have Touch ID enabled will not have a PIN option within 1Password. If Touch ID is not enabled on the device (no fingerprints are stored) then it is possible to set up a 4 digit PIN. It is an either/or proposition: both Touch ID and a PIN cannot be enabled for 1Password. In either case, the fallback is the Master Password.
In the case of using a PIN for 1Password the 1Password PIN is separate from the device PIN, and we would recommend setting them differently.
If you are having trouble with your PIN you can unlock 1Password with the Master Password, turn the PIN off, and then turn it back on. This will force a new PIN to be set.
Thanks!
