Back up
- My 1password data is auto backed up using PC. Do I still need to back up ios 1password data?
- also, I use 1password on PC, mac, ipad air and iphone. I want to make sure I have the latest version on all devices as I really love this app. Could not do without it.

Hi @Dipak1password,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I just wrote another post in regards to question #1 which you can read here:

As for question #2, the App Store app on iOS should be able to tell you if your apps are updated or not. As of writing v6.1.1 is the latest version for iOS. You can learn more about this here:
https://support.1password.com/check-app-version/ios.html
On Mac how you check for updates will depend on where you purchased from:
https://support.1password.com/check-app-version/mac.html
And on Windows you can find instructions here:
https://support.1password.com/check-app-version/win.html
I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Thanks. I have auto back up almost daily on my Windows PC. So the way I understand is that as long as I have this backup, I need not worry about ios backup. Is my understanding correct? albeit I agree there is no such thing as too many backups. The reason I worry about backing up using itunes/icloud is that I worry about it being on cloud eventhough I use dropbox for sync.

I'd really recommend making the occasional backup using these instructions, then:

It certainly doesn't have to be every day, or maybe not even every week, but it wouldn't hurt to do once monthly just in case.
