I tried to go to my doctor's portal for first time--get temporary password--copy it off email message--login to site with temp password--asks for new password twice--use password generator-1PW doesn't ask if want to save it but saves temp on clipboard!--and 14 character random I put in with PW generator is nowhere to be found--so have to do it all again!--Hank

  • Hey @TripleHjr! Could you try checking the Passwords category in the main 1Password window? Just open the app, unlock it if necessary, and click Passwords in the left sidebar.

Any generated passwords that are not saved to a Login will be stored there. You can select them and click Convert to Login to add your email address/username and they will be a full-fledged Login that you can use to fill both those fields in the future. :) Let us know if that helps.

That worked great--password was under "new.securedata" not "securedata"--

    Hi @TripleHjr,

I'm glad penderworth's suggestion was helpful for you, and that you were able to find the new password you had generated! In case it helps, you can find more information about that here: How can I recover an unsaved password?

Hopefully you're all set, but if you have more questions or need anything else, just let us know - we're always happy to help! :)
