Are backups saved to my PC or to a dropbox folder secure? If someone got hold of this file would they also have access to all of my password? Thanks.

    Backups are secured by your master password,and this means in practice that even a person who got hold of your database could not decrypt your passwords.

    1Password for iOS does not automatically make backups. They can (and should) be manually made following these instructions:

    https://support.1password.com/ios-itunes-backups/

    As danco mentioned these backups are afforded the same level of protection as your live 1Password data.
