I read the support docs but still can't figure out how to access my vault on my great new iPad pro.

Passwords are not available and I am trying to access credentials in my vault (to set up an email account) and am nor able to access it either ( tho I can see it when I open the main app ).

Thanks.

Jeff

  • Hi Jeff (@jeff_feinman),

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Where is your vault currently (i.e. On what devices)? Do you currently sync your 1Password data, and if so, by what method?

    Thanks!

    Ben

    Thanks for your reply Ben.

My vault is in Dropbox. Yes I sync my password data using Dropbox (which is also connected to my iPad pro).

  • Thanks, @jeff_feinman. You should be able to follow this guide to set up Dropbox syncing on the iPad Pro then:

    Sync with Dropbox

    Thanks Ben.

Unfortunately both 1P and Dropbox say that I should be syncing.

I have just sent a diagnostic.

  • Jeff,

Taking a step back... You mentioned:

tho I can see it when I open the main app

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are referencing here. If you launch the 1Password app on your iPad Pro you see the details in question? Where is it that you are not seeing them?

I hope you had a great thanksgiving Ben.

Regarding what I see in the main iPad pro app, there are no passwords or logins visible. Just that the vault exists and is syncing via Dropbox. I have a screen capture but not sure how to send it.

    Thanks!

    Jeff

Thanks, I'm about to. :) Same to you.

You can email the screenshot. I'd also like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report and screenshot to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

    Ben

I have the same problem, but I deleted 1P from my iPad Pro, reinstalled and synced and everything was fine until I went into 1P settings. Now it's stuck in settings again. Please fix 1Password so it works with iPad Pro.

i fixed my problem (I couldn't see the category icons on the left due to using screen filter). My only problem now is opening with 1Touch finger print takes forever.
    Thanks
