Can't switch from 1Password MAS to 1Password webstore version [resolved through email]

I updated my laptop and iphone to use the team account without issue. On my Mac desktop I keep getting "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini" as I try to upgrade 1pass.

I have removed the MAS version entirely, wiped all preferences, wiped all valuts. Rebooted etc. No matter how I try, 1password5 app won't start up. The MAS version works fine.

    Hi @jed123,

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble, and I'll do what I can to help get this straightened out.

    First of all, it is important that you only keep one copy of 1Password installed on your system at a time. The operating system can get a bit finicky when it goes searching for Mini, and it does have a tendency to find the wrong version. So, please confirm that you have only one copy of 1Password installed on your system (1Password 5 is the AgileBits Store version, so it's the one you'll want) and that it is in your /Applications folder.

    Yes, I removed all versions and preferences, then only installed 1password5, but it gives the error as shown above.

    The email was sent, but I did not get an automated ticket.

    The subject of the email begins with "1Password 5 Diagnostics Report for JED"
