Why don't I see any sync options on my iPhone under 1password settings? - My iPhone is not syncing.
Hello,
I have a macs, 2 iphones and an iPad. my iPad is syncing with my mac. my husbands iPhone is not.
I went to my iPhone and see that mine is also not syncing. I checked the settings on my iPad and mac and they are syncing with dropbox. I thought I should check all the electronics incase the problem was sync options. But my iPhone only shows 'items' and a number. Am I not looking in the right place or is something amiss?
- I will be traveling and will not be taking my computer along. Will this be a problem? Please tell me if I can transfer my 1password to my husbands computer and how to do this.
- I am NOT computer savvy and don't understand half the information I read when it comes to anything with numbers or computer lingo.
Many thanks in advance

Hi @Nur,
I sincerely apologize for the confusion here!
But my iPhone only shows 'items' and a number. Am I not looking in the right place or is something amiss?
Since we've added the 'All Vaults' view and Teams functionality to 1Password, we've been making some changes to the Settings screen. The sync information that you're looking for is actually now under the 'Vaults' tab. I know, this isn't intuitive, and we are looking into ways to clarify the Settings screen further. For now though, that's where you'll find the details that you need.
I went to my iPhone and see that mine is also not syncing.
I'd love a bit more detail here:
- Do you have items in 1Password for Mac that are missing in 1Password for iOS?
- If you go into Settings > Vaults > 'vault name', what sync details do you see there?
- If you tap on the 'Sync service' in that same pane, it will take you to a details screen - is the Dropbox path there the same as the path that your Mac is syncing to?
- Do you have multiple vaults enabled?
I will be traveling and will not be taking my computer along. Will this be a problem? Please tell me if I can transfer my 1password to my husbands computer and how to do this.
We can certainly set up 1Password on your husband's computer. I'd recommend our User Guide, which can walk you through the entire process. In particular, there's a section on using existing 1Password data on a new computer.
I am NOT computer savvy and don't understand half the information I read when it comes to anything with numbers or computer lingo.
We do our best to write our user guides for real people, with a minimum of computer lingo. Of course, if anything in the guides doesn't make sense, please let us know! We'd be happy to walk you through the process, and pass your feedback along to our docs team so they can make our guides better for everyone.
