I went on 1Password today using Touch ID. Another person's information was, along with my own, on my site. I've deleted all of my items. What do I do now?

@_carolbright - When you say that you have deleted all of your items, do you mean that literally? You deleted your own data and the data you did not recognize? Do you have any backups of your data, either by having manually backed up 1Password to iTunes or by having enabled syncing to another device?

Were the mystery entries for Wendy Appleseed? If so, those are for the Demo vault, which a user can create in order to be able to demonstrate 1Password to someone else, without showing any private data. AgileBits made up those entries for the Demo vault. And the most recent iOS update introduced a new feature to allow users to see all of their vaults at one, rather than seeing only one at a time. The application defaults to showing all vaults, and some users who have forgotten about the Demo vault have been surprised by seeing those entries.

If your mystery data is from that Demo vault, you can delete that vault by going to the 1Password settings > Vaults > Demo and pick the option to delete the vault. You should then be left only with the data you entered yourself, unless you also deleted that data too. If you did that and you have not backed up your data somewhere, you might be facing reentering your data from scratch.

Let us know more about your current situation and whether your data are backed up to another device.

    Hi @_carolbright,

I'm sorry for the confusion here! As Hawkmoth says, we've recently added a new vault view to iOS called 'All Vaults' view. This view will show you all of the information in all of your vaults, all at once. It sounds to me like you have added the demo vault to 1Password at one time, and that is the information that is now showing up.

Please let me know if Hawkmoth's answer has helped you out - of course, if you have any further questions we're here for you!
