Dropbox sync only works one way.
Syncing using Dropbox is not working anymore....and it used to be rock solid. It seems like it got flaky when I switched to opvault vaults a few weeks ago. It appears that syncing between Macs or to an iPhone work, but changes on the iPhone don't sync to the Macs; I only have one-way sync between Macs and iPhone.
This does not work: Changes to an existing logon or new logons made on a iPhone 6 (iOS 9.1 and 1P 6.1.1) do not sync to the either Mac. Even after manually syncing (Settings > Vaults > Sync Now.
This works fine: Mac to Mac (both run 1P MAS 5.4 on OS X 10.11.1) sync via Dropbox is very quick and consistent. New logons and changes to logons sync great between the Macs. Those changes on the Macs sync well to an iPhone .
I've confirmed that all sync settings are set to Dropbox and pointing at the same vault. Dropbox is using the same account.
Help. Thanks.
1Password Version: 6.1.1

OS Version: iOS 9.1, OSX 10.11.1

I have a similar problem: I noticed in DropBox that there seems to be some unexpected (duplicate?) file creation after I changed a password on my iOS device, and the change has not synced to my Mac or other devices (see pic). Weird... and frustrating.0 -
I have the same problem. I have 325 Logins on iPhone, 311 on Mac and 295 on PC. All using the same vault,
When I make a Secure note on PC, it syncs in seconds with iPhone. But it does not work the other way round. I tried deleting the Dropbox sync folder, and now I have 4 more logins on PC. Not a win.
There is also some kind of duplicataion in C:\Users\xxx\Dropbox\Apps\1Password\1Password.opvault\default. The file is "folders (1).js".
Thanx for solution

Hello, I face the same troubles.
on iPhone 6.1.1 ,on Macbook: 5.4.1.003
a new login on Mac is synced via dropbox to iPhone
a new login on iPhone IS NOT synced to the Mac
this is annoying0 -
Hi folks,
We are aware of a bug where items will not sync if the All Vaults view is selected. Switching to the vault you are making your edits in, instead of All Vaults, should cause a sync:
https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/multiple-vaults.html
I'm wondering if perhaps you are running up against this issue? We hope to have this bug fixed up in a future update. Please let me know how it turns out.

Ben,
That was it! After I switched the view on the iPhone from All Vaults to the vault in question, 1Password quickly synced the ~10 missing items. Whew. It never would have occurred to me to try that...thanks!

@petphi: That really is weird. Now, Dropbox will save conflicted copies of files if multiple changes go through at once...however, it typically appends '(conflicted copy)' to the filename, but that's on the server side. Are you by any chance syncing Dropbox with a PC as well? Windows uses the '(#)' convention for duplicates, so I wonder if something is happening with the Windows Dropbox client. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Excellent. Thanks for the update. Hopefully we can get it fixed up soon so the workaround isn't necessary.
