I purchased version 3.7.2 in 2012, I've been very happy with it, but now with the upgrade to iOS 9.1 on my iPhone 5s, it is crashing occasionally. 1Password has been nagging me to upgrade for some time and I'm ready to do so - purchasing a new licence if necessary. However, my old password collection is quite extensive and important to me - will an upgrade to the latest load my old data? It is backed up via the http method, although I'd have to take a guess at the master password - I don't think I've ever used that.

@adwelly: Sorry for the trouble! You're right that there are some issues i the latest version of iOS. 1Password touch/Pro version 3 was discontinued and removed fro the App Store years ago, so it hasn't been and won't be receiving any updates. However, 1Password 6 is available for iOS 9. It's a free download (http://1pw.ca/1PAScs — with an in-app purchase if you want Pro Features — https://support.1password.com/pro-features-faq/).

Yep! You can follow this guide to migrate your data from the old app: https://support.1password.com/upgrade-ios/

That, however, might be a problem. You're really going to have to know (or guess, or remember in a fever dream) the Master Password in order to transfer the data — and of course be able to decrypt it. AgileBits doesn't have it or your data, so I'm afraid that part is up to you.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how it turns out!
