And I just got a new iPad pro and I have not been able to restore my pro version on the 1passowrd. Can someone please get back to me? Thank you so much.

Hi there. I'm having the same issue. I have purchased the pro version a while ago, and I have working on my iPad as well my iPhone. I have checked my Apple ID many times and also have installed and uninstalled a few times. I can't restore my purchase back to be able to use the pro. Can someone please help me.

@Andregotz: In order for the App Store to validate your purchase, you'll need to be logged into the correct Apple ID used for the purchase both when you install the app and when you go to restore the Pro Features. If you're still having trouble, check your records, as you'll have received an email receipt for the purchase, which you may need if you need to contact Apple to get a purchase issue straightened out. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)

Like I mention before I have checked my Apple ID a few times. And I did use the same Apple ID I used when I purchased. I don't think I have the email from when I bought it. Because it was a couple of years ago. I would not have kept the email that long. Any other way? Would there be a record on the Apple Store that I bought it or something? Thanks again.

hi @brenty I have spoken to the Apple about the app, and I do have my receipt on my iTunes telling me that app was purchased on Oct 3, 2013. for $45.19. They told me that I can't get my money back from them because the app have been purchased over 90 days ago, so I have to call my bank and Dispute to get my money back. Which I will have to do it, since I paid 45 dollars for this app and I can't use the function I payed for. Thanks

    Hello @Andregotz,

$45 US would be 1Password for Mac, we've never charged that much or even near it for 1Password for iOS. As both purchases are through one of Apple's digital stores they do both show up on an iTunes receipt and if memory serves me correctly the cost is usually the clearest indication of which is which.

I suspect if you were to check the Purchased tab of the App Store application on your Mac you will find 1Password there with a purchase date of 3/10/2013. Hopefully you haven't initiated the dispute yet as I don't know what Apple would do in regards to the 1Password for Mac purchase - this is all unchartered territory for me given we have no control on their store.

Of course this means we're none the wiser really regarding 1Password for iOS. I find trawling iTunes purchase history is not fast, fun or easy. The only way I know is detailed in See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC and you would be looking for an entry for 1Password as an iOS app. You can skip batches unless they have a price higher than roughly $9.99. I'm based in the UK so that's a rough estimate. It might also help narrow down the searching by knowing that we didn't release 1Password 4 for iOS until 20/11/2012 so anything earlier than that can be skipped.

If you made an in-app purchase of the Pro features (only possible since 1Password 5) then the Restore button in Settings > Pro Features should help. If you purchased 1Password 4 for iOS this is what we call a grandfathered purchase and it's only properly read in when you install it. Right back when we first introduced the in-app purchase we did have some bugs to iron out but I do believe there were taken care of. It sounds as if you've already performed the troubleshooting steps for this possibility which is to remove the app and re-install it.

Maybe when you purchased 1Password for iOS will give us some clues.
