Old version was deleted, but v5 insists it needs old master password. How can I fix this?

I installed a trial version of 1Password for Mac (4.x), but never purchased. I later deleted the old version. I just purchased and downloaded v5.41 but it wants the old master password. What to do?

    Please read the article carefully to make sure that's really what you want to do—and note that the instructions differ depending on whether you originally used the Mac App Store version of 1P or the the AgileBits store version.
