    @dodabean start by taking a look at this knowledge base article:

    My Master Password is not being accepted. What should I do?

    There's a link towards the end which will tell you how to start over if you have to—but do bear in mind that will lose you all your 1Password data.

    Hi @dodabean,

    I'm sorry to hear you're needing to reset 1Password but Stephen_C's link should cover everything you need. Hopefully deleting the existing vault so you can start over doesn't result in the loss of too much :( Sadly there is no way to reset just the Master Password to allow a person to regain access as such a feature would be a terrible security hole that would be abused.
