@Juhani: It is not possible to enable Touch ID without first entering the Master Password. Touch ID saves your Master Password temporarily to unlock 1Password for you, but your vault cannot be decrypted without it.

(Un)fortunately AgileBits has neither your 1Password data nor the Master Password used to secure it, so this isn't something we can 'reset' for you to help directly. However, please try the tips in this guide as they may help you gain access again:

If that doesn't help though, you will need to either restore from a backup, sync from another device, or simply start over. Please let me know how it turns out. I look forward to hearing back from you!

@Juhani: I've merged your separate posts together to avoid confusion, so we're not trying to have the same conversation in multiple places. The other subject referenced an "iPhone 5". iPhone 5 does not have Touch ID, so please let me know if there are additional details.

If I could enable touch ID, which I used before, I could open the vault. I do not understand why touch ID alternative disappeared without disabling it.

@Juhani: iPhone 5S was the first Touch ID device. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.

Your Master Password is stored temporarily with Touch ID. Any time you clear it by locking manually or restarting your device, you'll need to enter your Master Password the first time for Touch ID to store it. You absolutely need the Master Password to decrypt your data, since it was used to encrypt it in the first place. Do you have your 1Password data sync'd elsewhere?
