I've been syncing with icloud for over 2 hours. Is something wrong?

I have a very small vault and all devices and OSs and iOSs are current. Why is it taking so long to sync with icloud? Thanks

    Resolved! The problem was with the iOS. I should have realized that the "extended sync" was really the "spinning wheel of death" in disguise. I simply did a hard shutdown of the iPhone and started the sync again and everything was done in a minute.
