iphone reset password

I forgot my password for 1password on my iphone. I can the app up by using my thumb scan. I then open the security tab but cant change my password because it is asking for my old one. Help!! What do I need to do?

    Hi @dolmsted,

    If you absolutely cannot come up with your Master Password then unfortunately the only recourse is to start over with a new vault. In this case since you have access to Touch ID I'd recommend copying down as many details as you can prior to doing so. This will be a manual process, as the app will not let you make a backup without the Master Password (and even if it did, the Master Password would be required to restore it).
