Sync an android phone with an iPad.
Hi,
the iPad has the vault with existing data and was switched from iCloud to Dropbox sync. Android sees the Apps folder, but only an 1password.opvault folder and does not recognize the vault.
How do I make the iPad sync an .agilekeychain, so that the sync is possible?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Oliver

Hi @aixxo,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. Sorry to hear you've run into this pain point as we transition to OPVault.
I'm not aware of any way to force 1Password for iOS to create an Agile Keychain, so we'll have to come at this from a slightly different approach. After consulting with one of my colleagues that works on Android here is what we'd recommend:
1) Create a keychain, if you have not already, on the Android device.
2) Sync that keychain with Dropbox. This should sync an Agile Keychain file over.
3) Setup 1Password for iOS to sync with the Agile Keychain that 1Password for Android created in step #2.Thanks!

Hi, I followed your instructions and now I have an agilekeychain and an Android phone an an iPad both claiming to be synced with that keychain over dropbox, but I still have no items from the iPad on the android phone and vice versa. Any ideas what to try now?

Sorry for the continued trouble. I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.
—iOS—
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html—Android—
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/android.htmlAttach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
