I have a new phone and would like to access my passwords? how can this be done

How do l log in and get all the information that l had on my old iPhone?

    I am not sure how my phone was set up when l first accessed 1password and would like to get all the passwords and information back. How can l start to go about this?

    @thor_gervasi as your posts relate to 1P for iOS I have moved the posts from the 1Password for Mac forum to the 1P for iOS forum where you will get more help.

    In order that we can help you we need some basic information from you. Please tell us:

    • What version of 1Password for iOS you are using (the link will tell you how to find that information). Please also tell us what version of 1P for iOS you used on your old phone (if you can remember or find out).
    • Your iOS version number
    • Whether you previously sync'd your 1P data from your old phone to any other device and if so to what device
    • If relevant, what sync method you used to sync your 1P data (Dropbox, iCloud or wifi) from your old phone
    • Whether you have any backups from your old phone
    • Whether your old phone is still in your possession

    • I am on version 6.1.1
    • iOS is fully updated to the latest, 9.1
    • I can not remember if it was synd as l am not sure how l set it up.
    • My old phone is backed up on my PC
    • No l do not have the old phone

    Good morning @thor_gervasi. @JWeaver's link will help if you explicitly made backups within 1Password on your old phone, but it sounds like perhaps you have a backup of the old phone itself. In that case you may need to restore your new phone from that backup of your old phone.

    Am I correct in assuming that when you got your new phone you did not restore it from a backup of your old one?
