iOS devices out of Sync as is the Mac

iOS devices have 6.1.2 installed and there doesn't appear to be a choice any more of the sync method? This also means I can't sync with my Mac. Not sure when this changed but I'd guess it was when you shipped v6?

Each device has a completely different total - how can I fix this? The Mac version 5.4.1 is not MAS.

1Password Version: 6.1.2, 5.4.1
Extension Version: 4.4.4
OS Version: OS X 10.11.1
Sync Type: No idea!

@suigeneris it sounds as though there may be some problem with your copy of 1Password 6. Certainly all previous sync methods are included. This excerpt from the user guide tells you have to set up each one:

    Syncing

If you refer to the relevant section for the type of sync you're trying to us can you tell us exactly where it goes wrong for you, please. As a final thought, have you rebooted your iOS devices since installing the latest 1Password update?

Just realised the sync service in iOS is detailed in the "Vault" dialog now.

Now I've triggered it manually they are in sync. Shouldn't this happen automatically?

    Thanks for your reply.

  • It should, normally, yes. But there is a bug (described here) that you may be running up against.

    I hope that helps!
