i just downloaded 1password for iphone 6s and deleted keeper. did I make a mistake? 1password 6??
Why would a company release a product and not clear it through Apple the number 1 phone company in the world? I read so many good reviews prior to downloading and taking all the time to install my info is very disappointing to say the least. Why did I do this????

Yes there is a larger learning curve than for keeper. I thought I downloaded 1password 6 but got 5 instead and can't get 6 did a hard shut down still the same. If I use create new password do I lose the original password?? The Ext. will that work on all apps I have downloaded from App Store? Thanks for response Ben

@grossijk - I am a fellow user, not an AgileBits employee, but I have a couple of comments that might help you.
Yes there is a larger learning curve than for keeper.
I don't know Keeper, but with the iOS User Guide on the AgileBits support site, I didn't find 1Password to be very difficult to learn. It did take some time, especially since I was used to another commercial product and had some habits to break.

That is really odd. Discontinued versions normally aren't available from the App Store. Are you using an older version of iOS? Version 5 is current for Mac, but as you say, 6 should be what you get for iOS if your OS is up to date.

If you create a new password, the record for older passwords for that site will be preserved in the password history for that record. You will see an option to tap towards the bottom of a record for Previously Used Passwords.
The Ext. will that work on all apps I have downloaded from App Store?
The extension in the iOS version will only work for applications whose developers have incorporated some specific code to allow 1Password to communicate directly with that application. There is a list of applications that have incorporated that code here: Apps ❤ 1Password It would be great if more developers made provisions for using the extension. But if they don't do that, Apple's sandboxing rules prevent applications from passing information to each other as a matter of security.

Hi @grossijk,
I hope hawkmoth's response answered your questions. The user guide he linked to should provide lots of helpful guidance in familiarizing you with the app and all its capabilities.
I will note that 1Password 6 requires iOS 9, so if you're unable to get v6 from the App Store, it may be that you're not yet running iOS 9 and you may need to update the OS software before you can update 1Password to v6.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're here to help! And thank you for trying out 1Password. :)
