Watchtower - Only for Heartbleed?
Hi
Wondering if watchover is only for heartbleed. Do you have any plans to extend it for something else? Thanks.

Hi @henders,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us.
We've been updating Watchtower with post-Heartbleed vulnerabilities for a long time now. If there's a breach, Watchtower should alert you to it.
If you are aware of a breach that isn't being reflected in Watchtower, don't hesitate to let us know. We are always on the lookout for more ways to keep folks safe.
If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. We are always here to help.
Cheers!

Hi @khad
Thanks for your reply.
Could you please let me know what other vulnerabilities watchover watches over (no pun intended) at the moment. I'm curious. Thanks.

I don't have a complete list to share. (It would be extremely long.) But here are a few of the most recent sites to be added.

Nexus Mods

http://watchtower.agilebits.com/check?h=forums.nexusmods.com&port=443If you click any of those links, you will see the reason each one was added under the "Important References" section. The most common reasons sites are added to Watchtower can be described as "unauthorized access". Someone who should not have access to the password database gained access to it. It is prudent to change passwords when that happens, so Watchtower will alert you even if you were using a strong, unique password (which we always recommend).
I hope that helps. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. :)

Whoa! That's impressive. Thanks.
One more question: does it only watch over U.S websites (e.g. dot com) or does it cover other countries/ TLD's as well, like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Japan, China etc. Thanks.

We have 1Password users everywhere, and we work to protect all of them. :)
Sites from across the globe are added manually when breaches are reported. We vet each report to ensure its accuracy so as not to induce unnecessary panic if there is merely a rumor floating around.
