Is there any way to have passwords displayed on the main page of a login?

Instead of having to click "Edit" and then "Reveal Password", can I just make it so that the password itself appears where the black dots are? I think that the security to enter the app is enough and I do not want to take more steps just to remind myself what the password is.

Thanks!

@blairekmurphy - What browser do you use? There is an extension for Safari called ShowPass that will reveal the password if you mouse over the dots. There are similar ones for Firefox. I have not look for Chrome. Would something like that suit you?

If you are wanting to see the password revealed on the login pages of the sites you visit, that would be controlled by the web site itself, not 1Password. I've never seen a site that revealed the password text as a routine matter, though.

I am talking about in the app itself on iPhone. I log into the app to remind myself of passwords (for some reason they do not auto-fill on my iPhone) and it is just annoying to have to reveal the password.

@blairekmurphy - Then I will move this thread out of the Mac section of the forum to the iOS section.

In 1Password for iOS, there is an option at the bottom of the Security section to Conceal Passwords. If yo switch that off, your passwords will then show in plain text. That same option is available in the Mac version, too, by the way.
