Switching between different accounts in 1password team
Hello,
We are a retail bike shop with the following setup:
We've got two main computers that are accessible to all employees and then managers have private computers and phones that are accessible just to them. We use 1Password to keep passwords synced between all the computers, allowing managers to easily come to a main computer and login to manager specific sites. Before 1password teams, we had 4 different vaults with different passwords that were syncing via dropbox. My hope with 1Password teams is that we could administer the different vaults, but allow each user to access their specific vault on any computer: so for instance managers could login to their Vault on the main computer and their private computer, and employees could login to just the employee vaults on the main computer. Is there a way to set this up?

Hi @newwheel,
That's a really interesting scenario. If you're willing to use the Web interface to 1Password for Teams then this would be doable, as you can easily log out and then login with a different account. This wouldn't provide you with all the features of 1Password that you're likely using right now though.
Without using the Web interface... the main computers that are accessible to all employees would need each employee to have their own user account on that computer so that the vaults and accounts could be kept separate for 1Password.
We're trying to simplify the unlock process. We find it too complex as it is, with its ability to switch vaults prior to unlock and have that drive things in the app. We want to make more things possible prior to unlock, but we don't think how we've done it is the way to go. We'll try to think of something better.

That's too bad... It would really be great to think through a simple way to allow for multiple team accounts on the same computer. Would make our life so much easier!

@newwheel: I do this all the time in Chrome, with a separate window/tab open for each team. 1Password is a single-user app, but the 1Password for Teams website can be more flexible in the browser within any given user account in a way that apps — with user-specific data on each computer — can't. I hope this helps! :)
