1Password 4 owner: Can't "restore purchase" of pro features
I purchased 1Password 4 from the App Store on 4/25/14 and have happily used 1Password's Pro features on my iPhone since 1Password 5 and 6 released. I purchased a new iPhone and am trying to "restore purchase" of pro features and receive an error every time I try to do so. I receive the following error:
"There were no purchases associated with you Apple ID. You may have made the original purchase with a different Apple ID or possibly with a family member's account."
- I am currently logged into the same account I purchased 1Password with. (I only have one Apple ID and have checked that I am properly signed in the settings in both the "iCloud" and "iTunes & App Store" settings.)
- I have tried removing the App and reinstalling it.
- I have even tried removing the App, logging out of my iCloud account, restarting the phone, logging back into my iCloud account, and reinstalling the app.
Still no luck. What should I try next? I'm happy to send you the Order ID for 1Password 4 if that would help.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi @millerstevew,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty restoring the Pro features. I'd like to see a diagnostics report, along with your receipt for 1Password 4 for iOS. You can find instructions for generating the report here:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
When you get to step 3 (re: extra logging) please
In-App Purchase
andUI General
. Then please try restoring the purchase again before generating the report.Once you've generated the report attach the entire file, along with a copy of your receipt from Apple, to an email to us:
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you.
P.S. Apple doesn't give app developers any sales / purchase history access to the App Store. For that reason an order ID doesn't really mean anything to us, for App Store purchases. This is why I've asked for the full actual receipt, which will hopefully help us see what may be happening.
Thanks!
Ben

My apologies. It looks like this is my error. I had purchased 1Password for iOS, received a refund, and then purchased it a second time shortly thereafter. It looks like Apple refunded that purchase too, so I have not purchased pro for iOS. How strange that I've been using pro for all these months.

My apologies.
No worries!

Indeed. At one point it was such that if Apple issued a refund for an item they would block any future access to that item (including the ability to re-purchase it). I'm not sure if they still do that or not. In any event: glad to hear you were able to find the root of the problem.
Thanks!
Ben
