1password will not auto fill

I have the iPhone 6 and I entered all my passwords, usernames and websites to them when I got this app. Whenever I go to a website and use the auto fill with 1password it opens up 1password and shows my total number in my vault (48) but it will not let me open the vault to select the icon of the website I need to auto fill. I am so frustrated. I tried looking and using the recommendations in the forum but they did not work for me. I have to always back out my website log in 1password search my vault for the icon and open up to see the password and username then close out of that and type in my info into the website. This is a great app but I'm very frustrated.

    Hi @Shaunicole,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. Do your login items have a website field that matches the domain portion of the website you are visiting? E.x. If you are trying to login to a Google website, the domain would be google.com. In order to fill a login item into Safari for that website you would have to have a login item that has a website field that contains google.com.

I've included a screenshot from our demo vault to hopefully make what I'm trying to explain more clear:

The extension will only show this item for filling when on a website where google.com is the domain. If the website you are on is yahoo.com then it will not be presented.

Ok my example is I have the website www.iplpower.com saved with a username and password but when I try to add the password and username when I go to the site it acts as if it's new. So i screenshot the link and it has the ill power in it but has other words also see below

Now some how my 48 entries in my vault are gone and I went to my settings to make sure my primary vault was selected but it keeps reverting back to all vaults

  • Hi @Shaunicole,

I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:

    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

    Ben
