you keep sending me the license key and link for 1 password 3 when i paid for 1 password 5
i upgraded and paid for 1 password 5 but you keep sending me the license key and links for 1 password 3 . you have sent me an email that refers to 1 password 3 twice. I have 1 password 5 which worked fine until the latest upgrade of imac El Capitain O/s, after which for some reason the license disappeared from the app.

there is no link, that is my problem. I cant get the license key into 1 password 5.On the picture of the email there is allowing the license key to be inputed into 1b Password 5. There is no such link in the two emails that have been sent to me.

@superguy - It would then appear that you do not have a license for version 5, at least not under the email address you used to register version 3. Version 4 was a paid upgrade from version 3' and version 5 is free to paid license holders of version 4. Have you ever paid for the upgrade from version 3? Did you use a different email address to buy version 5? Or did you perhaps get your copy from the Mac App Store, instead of from AgileBits? Software sold by Apple does not have license keys or files. They control licenses by tying them to the Apple ID used to buy the license.
You can see what version and the source of your copy if you go to the 1Password menus and clicking on About 1Password. What does it say on the resulting screen?
Sorry for the questions, but if you have a paid license for version 5 from the AgileBits web store, the email with your license information will return the link I described. So the email address you are using isn't connected to a license for version 5. I hope the answer to one of those questions will suggest a possible solution here. B sure you tell use what the About 1Password screen shows.
Someone from AgileBits will be along to follow up. I don't work for them, and I don't have access to their back office records. I think checking them will be needed to finally figure this out.

I definitely paid for an upgrade . I paid for the upgrade because my version at the time did not function properly after an imac os upgrade which did not support it anymore.Therefore I had no choice but to upgrade at the time.About 1Password. shows that I obtained it from agilebits store.An email from you On October 31,2015 at 3:13pm confirms i purchased licenses for 1 Pass 3f or Mac , and 1 password for Windows . I used this to upgrade to version 5. i paid $49.99

If you are sure you are using the same email address to request your license information as the one you used to buy the upgrade, it would appear that there may be something gone wrong in the licensing back end. It will take an AgileBits staff person to sort that out. I'm sure one will be along in due course.

@superguy: I believe I've located your license under the email address you're using on the forums. I've resent your license information. Be sure to verify that you've received it. And again, note that if you're looking for it under another address, this is the one we seem to have.

this the same email i have received three times previously. As far as i know this license key is correct , as it is the same as I originally received at the time of my original purchase on October 31st, 2015. However , as I have stated repeatedly previously I can find a way to input it into 1 Password 5.

I don't have the link Click here to Apply Your 1Password License. It is not in any of the emails that you have sent me or I would have clicked it long before . I have mentioned in previous messages that the required link has not been present in previous messages I have sent but nobody seems to listen.

Sorry for the hassle you've experienced here. You should find a brand new licence for both 1Password for Mac and Windows in your inbox. I've seen this before but it's rare. Something has become damaged and while we can see the 1Password 5 for Mac it does not show up in the email. The last time I looked into this I couldn't discover the cause even with assistance.
So I've repeated what I did back then which is to create a brand new Mac + Windows bundle licence for you. The new email should contain everything you need and will cover you for the latest versions on both platforms.
Please let us know if that works and if you're on track now :smile:

yes i finally received it and everything seems to be working satisfactorily again. I see a listing for software license has now been added to my 1Password 5

Sorry about all of that @superguy. The only way to know for sure that this was happening was to see the email you were sent which I did by altering our records. Once confirmed I knew what we were unfortunately dealing with and the quickest route to allowing you access to your licences. Should you find 1Password for Windows gives you any grief at all please use the new licence key that came in this email and if you weren't running 1Password 4 for Windows before you are now licensed to do so.
I hope your 1Password 5 usage is trouble-free going forward :smile:
