Have to re enter master password

in iOS

I'm setup with Touch ID but regularly have to re enter my master password on my iPhone. Is this normal? When does the app trigger a need for a re entry of the password? In my case the iPhone wasn't restarted or updated.

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'd be happy to look into that for you. Could you please let me know what settings you have set under 1Password > Settings > Security and also what 1Password > Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password is set to?

    Lock on exit: ON
    Auto lock: 10 minutes
    Touch ID: ON

    There's no advanced settings section.

    To be precise there is an advanced settings section but no security section in there.

    @gregmtl: Then it sounds like something is very wrong on your device. Please try restarting, as that will often resolve issues like this. If not, it may be necessary to reinstall a fresh copy of the app. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you!
